Hello!

I've been writing for television for over a decade. I co-write satirical sketches with Mark Humphries for ABC 7.30 and previously co-wrote sketches for THE FEED on SBS. I have also worked on shows like HOME ALONE TOGETHER (ABC), AUSTRALIA TALKS (ABC), SATURDAY NIGHT ROVE (TEN), POINTLESS (TEN) and WE INTERRUPT THIS BROADCAST (SEVEN).

Outside of telly, I have written pieces for publications like The New Yorker, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Saturday Paper, The Monthly and McSweeney's. I have written one book and co-written two others. I co-created and co-wrote an eight-episode audio-sitcom for Audible. And I have been lucky enough to co-write Mark’s speeches for the last two Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery Midwinter Ball events, which were attended by the Prime Minister and Opposition leader.

Given this website ends in .biz I am legally obligated to mention immodest facts about myself, like the fact that sketches I have co-written have been viewed and shared tens of millions of times and have somehow been shared by people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jameela Jamil and my Dad. They have also won an Australian Writers’ Guild award.

I know it doesn’t track with any of the above but one of my absolute favourite things in the world to write are rom-com feature films. I currently have one feature under option and plan to write many more in my lifetime. I am annoyingly obsessed by this pursuit and if I re-watch WHEN HARRY MET SALLY with the Nora Ephron and Rob Reiner DVD commentary one more time my girlfriend will actually murder me.
